Coja, Arganil, Coimbra Central Portugal

The Central Portugal Region is lush and green with rivers and forests.  The Summer months of June, July and August rarely see rain with temperatures ranging from 28 to 38 degrees in the sun. There is some rain here in the winter months January and Febuary, when the sun shines it is still warm during the day but the nights are cooler. The Spring months of March, April and May are very pretty with a variety of colourful wild flowers and although there may be some rainy days generally there is more sunshine with temperatures ranging from 16 to 25 degrees. September and October are still hot with temperatures sometimes reaching over 30 degrees but there may be the occasional thunder storm, very dramatic! November through to March is more unsettled but a BBQ on Christmas Day in a T shirt is not unheard of!
